MACC Call

Why pay for a commercial service (Rural/Metro) to perform an interfacility transfer when you can just call the volunteers.... Actual dispatch audio from a call requesting Windom FD (volunteer company) to the MACC (Mercy Ambulatory Care Center - an urgent care facility) to transport a patient with an ankle fracture to the hospital for difinitive care.

I agree what a uncaring stupid sister... but don't you all love the unprofessional comments made by the dispatcher over the radio? Leave it to the OPPD and Dispatcher William Hanarhan to be so uncaring for a person whom needs help. even her sister does not even care about her!

I guess the sister of the patient does not think that a volunteers time is as equally important. The volunteer departments from my home town, charge for transport just like the commercial transport companies. Maybe that would stop this kind of abuse.
