Why London's Air Ambulance uses cars
When the helicopter for London's Air Ambulance is offline — either at night when it is too dangerous to land in London or during dangerous weather conditions — the operation is supported by a rapid-response car team. The cars carry the same medical team attending the same incidents and carrying out the same procedures on scene.
