EMS Research – What to believe?

With all the literature constantly bombarding us on a daily basis it is sometimes difficult to decide what to believe. When faced with questions about changing your practice of pre-hospital care the literature can sometimes be confusing. It is vital to work closely with your medical director to determine which research is appropriate to your service and makes sense for you. There is such things as good research and bad research and before you adopt the newest techniques it is critical that you fully understand how the authors came to the conclusions they did and whether their conclusions are valid.
