I think it is fine being on here. It shows what is out there. AS for the comment, it is totally inappropriate, unprofessinal, etc. This employee needs formal discipline. The outcome should be based upon previous discupline, patterns of behavior, etc. IF this was my dispatcher, he would prob be terminated. There is no room for this type of behavior. IT diminishes our view in the public eye. Think of it this way. When you do something, how would it look on the front page of a newspaper?

Was this guy frozen back in the sixties and was brought out of suspended animation to fight Doctor Evil? Oh come on... It slipped right out of his head. Give the guy a break he realized it right as soon as he said it... If this guy is a constant cut up that does not listen to his supervisors well maybe he should get canned, but I can't see taking a guys living for this. It wasn't life and death it was for heck sake a 12 year old that was taking her mom to the mat and she wants to have 911 fix ...

***. It's enough that this piece of *** video clip has made the YouTube rounds, why the *** is it here, on EMS1.com?

Do you know a dispatcher who would do this unless he was a complete ***nut or needed help?

This industry eats its own far too often, and we need to look past the goof-factor and see what was really happening here.
