First off..the medic should have stayed inside the vehicle with his pt. The driver not the Caregiver is in charge of the vehicle! If they crash then who is to blame?? Yup tthe driver not the medic..Driver could have waited in the cab, appologized and stated he didn't see him because they were in a no passing zone and the car in front was pulling over so he was watching that because he thought something was coming from the other way, be courteous and deal with it later...or take the ticket and fi...

.... through OK's background. Also, several months before this incident he served a five day suspension after chocking a paramedic in another incident that was widely televised. As for this incident he was initially suspended pending the outcome of an investigation. He is now back at work after he was cleared of any wrongdoing..... Is that banjo music I hear in the background?

Failure to yield? Maybe, although I would not want the judge to see the video.
To much attitude from the medic and cop? Absolutely!
Patient abandonment? If no one else was in the back of that ambulance, then yes!
The medic was wrong for arguing with the cop - does not matter if the cop was right or wrong, you don't argue with the guy with the gun. Take it up later with his supervisor.
A little more about the cop. He had been fired by his two previous departments - not sure how he made it...

Oh great...another gun and badge on an arrogant juvenile. Juvenile should not be suspended...he should be fired!!! What a crock for a supposedly professional law enforcement officer!!
