EMS Shears Alternative for EMT's, Paramedics, Firefighters - Extrication, Talon Rescue Tool TRECK+

The TRECK+ by Talon Rescue Trauma Shears Alternative - Emergency Clothing & Equipment Cutter.

The TRECK+ by Talon Rescue is an alternative to trauma shears and seat belt cutters, with the addition of an O2 key.

Multiple layers, hard to cut materials: leather, thick jackets, hazmat suits, wetsuits, racing uniforms and even Firefighter turnout gear.

Avoid patient contact, multiple insertions and awkward cuts - the TRECK cuts safely and quickly, without shears.

From seat belts, T-Shirts and jeans, to racing uniforms, and even turnout gear, the TRECK quickly and safely removes obstructions 75% faster than shears.

Made in the USA for EMT's, Paramedics, Firefighters and all first on scene personnel for emergency and tactical use.

The TRECK+ trauma shears alternative.

Rescue of sinking catamaran

The 2012 Round the Island Race on Saturday 30 June turned out to be a busy day for RNLI in Lymington, Hampshire, U.K. The crew responded to four shouts, including a sinking catamaran whose crew were in the water.

The charity's volunteer crew was on patrol during the race, which is now in its 81st year, when they were called to assist the capsized catamaran with eight people aboard. Six were transferred to a large catamaran that had responded to the mayday, and two evacuated to the harbour.
